Wednesday Wish List

Morning all,

Today I've put together a little wish list post to share with you. As you'll see, I'm still lusting after long flowing maxi skirts, and delicate summer dresses; just the essentials for any Summer wardrobe then, really!

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 //

I'm crazy about this beautiful ivory maxi dress, although sadly my bank balance is not. I saw this dress recently in Debenhams and made a bee line for it. It's embroidered, with hand sewn beading, and broderie anglaise, and it's just perfect. Perfect for a relaxed look on a hot sunny day. It is a dress which screams bohemia. It has me conjuring up images of wearing it with daisies in long flowing hair, bare footed on a beach or in a field in the dark hanging around an open fire with music strumming from a guitar... or perhaps the Beatles playing. I guess I'm just an old hippy at heart! An old hippy who would love to own this dress!

I recently bought some of the L'Occitane make up range from an outlet village, and I was so impressed with them I want to go back for more. This teal and black eyeshadow duo is gorgeous, and I think it could be used to create the most striking smoky eyes as a great alternative to all black.

My love of animal motifs and prints is unlikely to ever falter. I mean, who wouldn't love a big panda head on their jumper?? I was excited to see this piece of knitwear pop up when I was browsing online a few days ago. There had been a similar design in ASOS's petite range last Autumn, and I remember sulking a little as I wasn't petite, and there wasn't a similar one for us average-height folk. Now there is, and it's also a fun take on this season's monochrome trend!

This is a lovely, pretty patterned dress I'd love to add to my ever-growing dress collection. I think it would also be a great dress for Weddings and other formal affairs this Summer.

Much like the Red Herring dress, I want to wear this skirt bare foot in the summer bohemian style, but equally I'd wear it with leather and studs to give it an edge.

This skirt is perfect for a hot sunny day. I'd wear it with a cream or white top with pretty details such as crochet or lace to add a bit of interest, and with a light-wash denim gilet or shirt to toughen it up a little.

I have maxi skirts on the brain right now... did you notice?? I love the bold red of this one. It would be a versatile addition to my wardrobe, and easy to dress in the nautical style with touches of navy blue and white.

I tested this amazing fuchsia eye shadow the last time I was in the Body Shop, and I was instantly smitten with it. It's so highly-pigmented, so bold, and fun. This is not an eye shadow for the faint-hearted, but for colour-junkie me, this daring colour is perfect. Oh so perfect.

What's on your wish list right now?
