Only me again!
I can't believe it's already the fourth day of May! This year is just flying by. It's already Day Four of the Blog Every Day in May Challenge, which is a challenge set by Story of My Life, and today's theme is 'Favourite Quote (from a person, from a book etc) and why you love it.'
Well, it just so happens that I'm a big fan of quotes. I love looking to quotes for inspiration and finding wise words I can relate to, or can use for comfort, motivation, or just generally inspire to live by. I'm particularly obsessed with song lyrics; I even have a notebook I'm filling with favourites, which help to inspire me when I need them most. I can also quote certain movies, and TV shows, and love certain extracts from books, but I rarely remember to write them down.
So, instead of sharing one quote, I'm going to share many! I don't do things by halves.
Favourite Quotes
These are quotes and sayings I love and believe in. I often turn to quotes when I'm having a particularly bad day with pain and struggling to cope. They help to reassure me.

Positive breeds positivity.
It ain't the destination, it's the ride.
Favourite Song Lyrics
I have A LOT of favourite song lyrics. I love music, and lyrics just speak to me. Some are inspiring, some I can relate to, others are just beautifully written, or humorous. Here's a bunch of favourites that came to mind.
"When you were standing in the wake of devastation. When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown. And with the cataclysm raining down, insides crying 'save me now!' You were there, impossibly alone...
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation? You build up hope, but failure's all you've known. Remember all the sadness and frustration and let it go. Let it go." Iridescent by Linkin Park
"And the clouds above move closer, looking so dissatisfied. And the ground below grew colder, as they put you down inside, but the heartless wind kept blowing, blowing." Valentine's Day by Linkin Park.
"Waiting for the end to come, wishing I had strength to stand. This is not what I had planned. It's out of my control." Waiting For the End by Linkin Park.
"Maybe time will be all that I need to grow. Maybe time's all I need and a little hope." Time by Boyzone.
"Perfect by nature, icons of self indulgence. Just what we all need; more lies about a world that never was and never will be." Everybody's Fool by Evanescence.
"Has no one told you she's not breathing? Hello, I am your mind giving you someone to talk to... hello." Hello by Evanescence.
"These wounds won't seem to heal. This pain is just too real. There's just too much that time cannot erase." My Immortal by Evanescence.
"This was no accident, this was a therapeutic chain of events." Camisado by Panic! At The Disco.
"Well she's not bleeding on the ballroom floor just for the attention 'cause that's just ridiculously odd." Time to Dance by Panic! At The Disco.
"If I could trade mistakes for sheep, count me away before you sleep." Trade Mistakes by Panic! At The Disco.
