Birthday Wish List

It's almost that time of the year again when I get to acknowledge another year of being alive with presents and cake.

It also wouldn't be a birthday without posting my annual birthday wish list.

I've been sharing a birthday wish list on the blog just for fun for years, so in keeping with the tradition, I've put together one this year, too. It's not a wish list I've shown to anyone to demand presents from; it's just a fun lust-list to show you what I'd love to get for my birthday or what I might choose to buy should I receive any birthday money. This year, it's mostly made up of pretty books, dresses, and Loungefly bags- but hey, what's new?

1. I'm obsessed with this amazing folk-style Aristocats mini backpack from Loungefly which is due out soon. Obsessed. I also just discovered this Robin Hood backpack in a similar style (after finishing this wish list- eurgh), and now I need that one, too.

2. Holy crap, do I love this Labyrinth smock dress from Truffle Shuffle. There's a possibility I might have ordered it. And by possibility, I mean there's a 100% chance it's now hanging in my wardrobe.

3. Owlcrate are releasing the most incredible Shadow and Bone book set any day now, and they're some of the most beautiful books I've ever seen. A price or a date for sale hasn't been confirmed yet- they originally said end of June- and the demand is likely to be huge, but I'll definitely try for a set if I get any birthday money.

4. I definitely don't need any more eyeshadow palettes, but the Too Faced Too Femme Etheral eyeshadow and pressed pigment palette is rather dreamy

5. I've been looking for a good reading journal for years, and I love the look of Owlcrate's Forest Reading Planner. I just wish postage to the UK wasn't so much.

6. My brooch collection needs more bunnies, and the Beloved Bunny Brooch from Erstwilder's Pete Cromer collection is pretty darn cute.

7. I really want to treat myself to some YSL Touche Eclat and their amazing Blur Primer, and this set is such good value. 

8. I don't have a lot of flowers in my brooch collection, but Erstwilder's By Any Other Name vase of roses brooch is certainly handsome enough to tempt me.

9. I could do with a new pair of Converse. Their red low tops are a fail-safe classic- though, I'm going to hold out a little longer in case I find a cool pattern or the perfect green pair.

10. This Alice in Wonderland Loungefly backpack has been on my wish list for so long, but I still adore it. The painting the roses red scene was always a favourite when I was little.

11. I love this Bunnies in the Heather rabbit-print Lyra dress from Lady Vintage. And it's currently on sale!

12. Everyone needs a sparkly, pair of lilac Dancing Dolphins in their jewellery collection, right?

13. I'd love this Litjoy Crate ACOTAR Velaris pin banner to display my pins or brooches on, or just to have as a wall hanging above my bookshelves. I have some loyalty points saved up, so I'm tempted to treat myself.

14. Another Lady Vintage dress I'd love to get my hands on is the beautiful Moon and Stars print Lyra. The print is so subtle and pretty, and it's giving me nineties vibes.

15. Throne of Glass has become one of my favourite ever book series', and Litjoy Crate's Throne of Glass booksleeve has been tempting me for ages. I love the quote on it: 'Libraries are full of ideas- perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.' It's another serious contender for my LC points. 

16. The Illumicrate edition of Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs is rather lovely, it has to be said.

17. I don't care that my sister already beat me to this Loungefly Care Bears Care-a-Lot Castle mini backpack; it's adorable, and I want it. Maybe I'll save myself a few quid and just go steal hers. I wonder how long it would take for her to notice?

18. My Little Pony was another childhood favourite of mine, so I'm also smitten with the new Loungefly My Little Pony 40th anniversary stable backpack. Seven year old me would've killed for this backpack. If backpacks aren't your thing, there's also a cross-body bag, and a matching purse.

19. I love the sound of An Enchantment of Ravens and Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogers, and the Fairyloot editions look stunning.

20. Illumicrate's edition of Bitterthorn by Kat Dunn also looks gorgeous.

21. These Fantastic Day pumps from Joe Browns are so pretty. I love the rose-gold scalloped detailing and the pink ribbon laces.

22. And last but definitely not least, is the cutest dinosaur brooch ever- an origami-style t-rex from Erstwilder called The Land Before Bedtime. Seriously, I need it!
