Wednesday Wish List

Hi guys,

I took a little break from my Wednesday Wish List feature last week, but it's back today, and it's packed full of Autumnal beauties that I hope you'll like.

I've got my eye on countless beautiful pieces, but with Christmas coming up, I'll just be admiring most of them from afar. I could ask Santa to help me out, but I don't think I've made the nice list this year... I'll probably just be getting coal and an old satsuma in my stocking. Ah, well... eBay clear out it is!

I'm still on the hunt for a new winter coat, but I'm finding it difficult to find something I like within my budget that reaches the knee (so that I can wear it over my knee and midi length dresses). The handful of these I've found and liked are upwards of £85, which I can't really afford right now. I love the tartan checked skater coat (2) by F & F at Tesco, though it's out of stock in my size online, and I also like the black skater skirt coat (19), but I think it will be too short for the purpose. I may have purchased the berry fur trim coat (10) from Evans on the weekend, which I hope may be the one. I found a few discount codes that saved me over £30, which is brilliant, so I hope it gets the thumbs up when it gets here. I'll talk more about winter coats in a separate post on another day, though.

Something I'm really loving about fashion this season, is all the animal prints and patterns that are popping up everywhere. Everywhere I turn there are clothes and accessories with woodland creatures on them. Foxes, squirrels, deer, owls, rabbits... I just love them all! We have the lovely fox print smock dresses by ASOS (1) and (5)- I must add the green dress to my wardrobe zoo. I MUST! Then there are the New Look Inspire t shirts with foxes (3), squirrels (11), and a woodland menagerie (12) on them. I want one of each, please! And if that wasn't amazing enough, there's even a fox shaped bag (24) in bright cobalt blue by OASAP. They're all so beautiful! 

If whimsical accessories are your thing, then you need to check out the diamond shaped iridescent shoulder bag by Motel (21), and the Anna Smith cobalt blue evening bag (23) with a thunder and lightning motif on it! They're both gorgeous and would fit so nicely in to my collection- and yours, too, I'm sure! Wouldn't the diamond bag be fabulous for all those festive parties and gatherings coming up next month? I think so! It would certainly turn a few heads!

    If you don't mind me asking, and I'm sure you'll have already answered it somewhere, but how do you make the collages?

    1. Good choices! They're some of my favourites, too. Aw thank you!

      I don't mind at all. It's a long process! I use GIMP to make the images transparent, and then use Photoscape to put a collage together from scratch. I use a plain white image, and then add each stock photo in, organise them in to a display I'm happy with, and then insert the little speech bubbles and add the numbers on top! I'm sure I could just use Polyvore, but I like putting them together like this with my own little touches to them. (Photoscape and GIMP are both free to download)! Hope that helps! :)

      I'm only just getting my head around Polyvore, and I find making a big wish list collage instead of an outfit collage really taxing. I find my way easier, anyway.

    1. Haha! It may also have been delivered this afternoon... And it's a winner! It's much nicer than on the website. It's a fit and flare shape and reaches my knees, so it's perfect for my longer dresses, especially the ones with flared skirts! Absolutely love it, even if the arms are a bit big for me. I really do want the green dress... the foxes are too cute! Aw, it's no fun being deprived of pretty things! My money's going on xmas presents right now so I can't really treat myself to anything else either xx
