Hey guys,
Just a quick post to share an outfit I wore over the weekend.
I've mostly been living in pyjamas this last week as I've been struggling to cope with my pain levels and standing up in general, but it was such a lovely day on Sunday I just couldn't lie around in thick PJs. Not that I'm complaining; I'm so pleased that the weather is finally warming up a little!
Warm weather calls for a floaty skirt, so I dug out my crazy ASOS midi skirt which has the loudest Aztec pattern in bold colours all over it, and little red pom poms a couple of inches above the hem! It's absolutely insane, but I'm quite fond of this skirt, and I particularly like the shape of it on me. This skirt was from last summer's collection, which you'll probably have seen on many a plus size blogger if you've been reading style blogs for some time. It may be old news, but I love to wear the clothes I love again and again, and this probably won't be the last time you'll see this skirt!
I decided to clash patterns for the look I was going for, and wore it with my new red polka dot Peter Pan collared top from Red Herring. I'm not sure what you guys think, but I actually really like how these pieces look together. I also wore it with a black Lovedrobe shrug, my Cath Kidston rose bracelet, and a red heart flower ring.
As you can see, the pattern is anything but discreet!
This flower ring is made up of lots of red love hearts!
I seem to go through phases of wearing something lots when it's new and I love it, and then sometimes forget all about it.
ReplyDeleteI do exactly the same thing!

ReplyDeleteAw thank you :)
DeleteLOVE these patterns together! This outfit is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same, if I love something I wear it over and over again but I must admit, as an avid shopper I sometimes find there are items I love that I totally forget about! xxx
Aw thanks so much, Hannah :). I do exactly the same thing. I'll wear something over and over, and then after a bit of shopping I sometimes forget about it for a while xx
