I'd like to say a big thank you to Rachel of A Dress Is For Life who has nominated me for the Versatile Blogger award! Thank you so much, Rachel! This is the second time I've been nominated, and as a new personal-style blogger, I'm really flattered!
As I've only recently been awarded this award, and have already passed the honour on to my favourite bloggers, I won't nominate another 15, but I will share another 7 facts about myself.
1. I've never worn fake tan, and never intend to! I like being pale!
2. I'm lactose-intolerant.
3. I sold pet ducks to the comedian Ronnie Barker several times in the last years before he died.
4. I've had a life-long love of the sea and wish I was a surfer. I was a fearless child!
5. I don't own a pair of heels.
6. I can't stand bacon or mushrooms. The smell alone makes me feel sick.
7. My favourite books are The Time Traveller's Wife, and Stephen King's The Stand. I think The Hunger Games trilogy is now high on the list, too.
i completely agree with number 6 they are awful xx
ReplyDeleteFinally! Someone who agrees with me! Everybody thinks I'm mad!

ReplyDeleteI don't understand the fear of being pale at all! I'm ever paler than normal myself as I've barely seen sunllight in 8 months. Yes, I have read that book. I'm not normally a fan of 'Chick Lit' but I did enjoy that one. You're welcome, and thank you for the lovely comment!
DeleteYucky, i dont like mushrooms either... but NO heels?! Wow... that's an amazing fact lol

I guess I'm more comfortable on the ground! I will get myself in to wearing them once I get over this back injury tho! I'm already following you!! Great blog!
Deletelove the previous post also- i always think your dresses are styled in a fresh way, and every dress has a personality (i'm so bad if they are particularly fab i name them or they fit to my mood, sometimes i'm in a 40's, 50's mood!)i'm so impressed about your ronnie barker story, it is so cool! i do fake tan - i am bizarrely 2 colours - very olive colouring from the waist up with pale legs - great to learn more about you x
ReplyDeleteThank you Maria! I love that you name your dresses! Ronnie was a regular and just like any older man in public, but such a legend. I think it's normal to be different shades on different parts of your body. The bits you don't see + my legs are pretty much milky white!
