May 31 Day Blogger's Challenge: Day 24- The Item That Brings All The Boys To My Yard

Hey guys,

How you all doing? I hope those of you in the UK are out enjoying yourselves and making the most of the long-overdue heat while it lasts. It's stifling indoors, even with my fan on full blast and it's 12am. Madness!

It's been nice to see the sun shining, but to be honest a heat wave isn't so great when you're stuck indoors unable to go out and enjoy it properly. I love the sunshine, but I don't really cope too well in it unless air conditioning is involved (which is a rare thing to find in this country) or I can go for a swim in the sea, and just end up moaning along with the rest of the nation that it's too hot! Pathetic, right?

Anyway, I've been falling behind with this challenge again, haven't I? Sorry for the lack of posts, but my spine is still holding me captive in bed. I did manage to get dressed today for the first time in a week but only because I was too hot in the old PJs. I managed to stand for about a minute to document the dress, but the pain won and it was back in to bed for me.

Sorry, couldn't resist. And that is actually a Serendipity 3's Frrrozen Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate. And I didn't make it. I just sat there on cloud 9 eating the dessert to put all other desserts to shame until I could eat no more. (I barely made a dent in it). I urge you all to try it if you're ever in NYC. I'm sure I could coax a few guys to the yard with one or two of these!

Can't blame a girl for trying.

I was up last night revamping the blog again. I didn't feel that the pastel shades of purple were very me. I've always preferred bold colours over muted tones. Now I've changed it, I can't decide if it looks too much like the blog of a twelve year old. What do you guys think? I'd appreciate your feedback.
