Hey guys!
Guess who's back!
It feels like I haven't blogged in years, but it's only been eleven days since my last post. I guess in the fast-paced world of blogging, that might as well be years, though. Centuries, even. I think this may be the longest I've gone without blogging since I started the blog almost seven years ago. I've felt like I've been missing a limb.
So, let's start with an apology: I'm sorry that it's been so quiet on the blog this past month. I've been struggling with both my physical and mental health since Christmas, and haven't been well enough to put content together. All of my conditions have been flaring up on and off all month, with my arthritis and fibromyalgia proving particularly tormenting and challenging. The pain and fatigue have been a lot worse than normal, my hands have been swelling up again, and the brain fog has been ridiculous, so I've not been a lot of use to anyone. I did attempt to write a few times, but with a mind clouded by fog, the words just wouldn't come.
My tachycardic heart has also been racing erratically, jolting, and palpitating this past week, so I've been having a grand ol' time so far this year. I've not even been able to go near my phone or laptop much lately as, bizarre as it sounds, they've just been aggravating my heart rate, so that's why I've not posted since last Wednesday. It's not the start to 2019 I hoped for my health or my blog, but I'm going to believe that things can only get better from here. Even if I am currently in the midst of another fibro flare, and know it's probably not true. It doesn't hurt to hope and dream.
I'm beginning to feel a little better now, so I'm hopeful I'll be able to get back in to the swing of things this week. I'm going to ease back in to things today with a brand new selection of my Sunday Favourites, and see where I go from here. I hope you enjoy it.

As an eighties/ nineties kid, I'm loving these new Care Bears t-shirts (boyfriend t-shirt and baseball t-shirt) from Truffle Shuffle. They cater up to a 2XL, which, I'm surprised to learn is a UK 24-26 in their sizing.
Irene Strange's curious amigurumi crochet patterns are so adorable. I've never attempted to crochet before, but I need to learn so I can make that awesome little anteater!
Kate from Scathingly Brilliant has shared a great tutorial for a DIY button display. I'd like to do something similar to display my brooch collection.
Sound advice. Does anyone know who created this so I can credit them?
Damask Love show you how to make your own lip print trainers using a Cricut machine. How cool is that?! I need to get my hands on a Cricut so I can try this.
This colourful tassel necklace DIY from A Subtle Revelry looks like a fun and easy craft to try, even for beginners.
This pink champagne cake from Best Friends For Frosting is so beautiful. I really need to learn how to decorate cakes.
Sugar and Cloth's white chocolate funfetti popcorn would be the perfect treat for your next girl's night in.
These Swedish princess cakes by Sprinkle Bakes are so darn pretty, and they sound bloody delicious, too.
I love this DIY tassel wall hanging by Honestly WTF. I'd probably make it in pastel colours for my home, though.
I never get bored of seeing Sasha Unisex's fox tattoo designs; this one is a beauty. The dream is to get one inked on me one day.
I'm blown away by how gorgeous Vera Shimunia's nature embroideries are. Her work is stunning.
