Merry Christmas

I've just popped on to wish everyone who celebrates it a very Merry Christmas- and a very merry Wednesday / other holiday to those of you who don't!

I hope you have a wonderful day however you're spending it, and that the present gods are kind to you.

I'll just be spending the day at home, low-key celebrating with my family, and I can't wait to finally be able to relax after a busy month preparing for Christmas because I'm shattered and in so much pain from pushing myself too hard.

My day is basically going to involve stuffing my face with delicious food, watching a couple of Christmas movies, and maybe even playing a board game or two after Christmas dinner, because that's about as rock 'n' roll as my life gets these days! Haha!

I'm also looking forward to opening presents with my dog, who is a furry toddler when it comes to presents, so Christmas morning with her is always fun, and one of my favourite parts of the day.

I'm sure I'll be posting photos to my Instagram Stories over the next few days if you want to see the highlights, and I'll be back soon to catch you guys up. Until then, I'm going to sign off and be present for a few hours, and hopefully not find myself wanting to throttle my family.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone! (Or a merry Monday, if you don't celebrate it)!

The big day is finally here, and after a busy month preparing, I can't wait to relax, unwind, and enjoy the festivities with my family.

I'm looking forward to giving my family and my dog their presents, indulging in lots of good food, falling into a food coma while watching a few Christmas movies, and basically, taking it as easy as possible.

How ever you're spending the day, I hope you have the best Christmas with your favourite people. Eat, drink, be merry (or grumpy, if that's your jam), and ignore any haters that try to spoil it for you.

I'm going to log off now and enjoy myself, but I'm sure you'll find me updating my Insta stories throughout the day.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas

Hey guys!

I just stopping by to wish you all a very Merry Christmas- or a very Merry Sunday, if you don't celebrate it. I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with your family and friends (or simply enjoying your own company), getting spoiled with presents, eating lots of delicious festive treats, and doing all those things that make Christmas special to you.

I'll be spending today enjoying the festivities with my family at home in The Cotswolds. I'm looking forward to giving gifts, sitting down to Christmas dinner in the afternoon, falling in to a food coma in front of some festive TV, breaking out a board game or two, indulging in a few treats, and finally making some time to relax after a busy month.

It's going to be great. I can't wait!

I'll be back to tell you all about it in a few days, but for now, I'm going to log off, and soak up as much festive cheer as I can before it's all over for another year. In the meantime, you can probably find me sharing snippets of my day on Instagram.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, everyone. I hope it's the best one yet.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, guys!

I can't believe the big day is here. Where has the month gone? (Or the year for that matter)? It feels like it's all passed in a blink.

I've had such a busy few weeks preparing for Christmas- wrapping a gazillion presents, decking the halls, writing all these festive blog posts- so I'm looking forward to finally finding some time to relax and enjoy myself now that Christmas is finally here.

I can't wait to spend the next few days enjoying the festivities with my family at home. It's going to be so lovely, especially as we only got one day together last year, thanks to Covid restrictions in the UK. I'm fully intending to make up for last year by spending today eating lots of delicious festive treats, spoiling my family and my dog with presents, watching Christmas movies in my PJs, sitting down to Christmas dinner with the family (and then falling in to a food coma in front of the TV), and maybe even playing a board game or two before crawling back in to bed to recover with some turkey sandwiches. I'm so rock 'n' roll, and I'm not even sorry!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas however you're spending it, and are able to celebrate with your friends and family. Eat, drink, and be merry- and have an extra slice of cake for me! You deserve it.

If you aren't celebrating today, I hope you have a lovely day, too.

I'll be back to tell you all about Christmas 2021 soon, but right now I'm going to log off, and enjoy the holidays with my family.

Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, everyone!

Merry Christmas!

After weeks of shopping for the perfect gifts, wrapping presents, putting up decorations, baking tasty treats, and having pity Christmas parties for one because we can't go to real ones, we've finally made it to what will hopefully be the most wonderful day of the year. It's Christmas!

It might look a little different for many of us this year thanks to Covid restrictions, lockdowns, and Boris Johnson cutting Christmas right back at the last minute. We might not be able to spend it with our extended families and friends, go out for Christmas lunch, take festive holidays overseas, or even go to church, (if those are traditions you observe) but I hope you're able to have a fantastic Christmas despite any changes you've had to make to your traditions this year. We all deserve to have a wonderful Christmas after the year we've all lived through- even if  it's just sitting on the sofa stuffing our faces with cake while watching feel-good Christmas movies with our pets.

Christmas Day should be a pretty normal affair in our house because we only ever spend it at home, just the six of us, and I'm so grateful for that right now.  My sister and brother-in-law will be joining us for the day, and I'm looking forward to every minute of it. After a busy month preparing for the holidays, I can't wait to finally take it easy, spend time with my family, enjoy some good food, watch lots of festive movies, dress my dog up in a Christmas jumper, and maybe even push the boat out and play a few board games before I crawl back in to bed to recover. I can't wait for some normality to help me forget about the pandemic for a day.

I'll be back to tell you all about my Christmas in a few days, but until then, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas- or a lovely day if you don't celebrate it. Don't let the Corona Virus stop you from enjoying it. It doesn't deserve the satisfaction.

However you're spending it, I hope you get spoiled rotten, have fun, eat your body weight in roast potatoes and chocolate, enjoy a few drinks, and find plenty of time to relax and recharge. You deserve it!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas!

After weeks of counting down the days, shopping for gifts, wrapping presents, decking the halls, baking and eating tasty festive foods, crafting, and sharing lots of festive content on the blog, the big day is finally here! It's Christmaaaaaassssss! (Sorry, I couldn't resist)!

I've been so busy preparing for Christmas these last few weeks, so I'm looking forward to finally having some time to switch off, relax, and enjoy the festivities with my family over the next few days. I'll be spending the holidays at home with my immediate family, including my older sister and brother-in-law who are home from Germany for a few days with their dog, Mia, and I'm looking forward to every minute of it. Chilled Christmases at home are my favourite way to spend the holidays.

I'm planning to spend the day opening presents with my family, watching a few Christmas movies, eating lots of delicious festive food, falling in to a food coma sometime around mid-afternoon, dressing my dog up in a Christmas jumper, and maybe even playing a board game or two and enjoying a few drinks before I fall back in bed in the evening to recover. I can't wait!

I'll be back to tell you all about it in a couple of days, but for now, I'm going to sign off, and just enjoy the day with my family.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends, get spoiled rotten with presents, indulge in lots of delicious festive food and drink, and most importantly, enjoy yourselves. You deserve it!

Merry Christmas!

After weeks of counting down the days, putting up decorations, shopping for presents, wrapping gifts, making yummy food, crafting, and sharing lots of festive blog posts, the big day is finally here! It's Christmaaaaaasssss! (Sorry, I couldn't resist).

This month has gone so quickly, but I still can't believe Christmas Day is finally here. Where have the last few weeks gone??

I've been so busy preparing for Christmas these last few weeks, so I'm looking forward to finally having some time to switch off, relax, and enjoy the festivities with my family. I'll just be spending the holidays at home with my immediate family, including my older sister and brother-in-law who are visiting from Germany for the week, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Quiet Christmases at home are my favourite way to spend the holidays.

I'm planning to spend the day opening presents with my family, watching a few Christmas movies, eating lots of delicious festive food, falling in to a food coma sometime around mid-afternoon, dressing my dog up in a Christmas jumper, and maybe even playing a board game or two and enjoying a few drinks before I succumb to the pain in the evening and fall back in to bed to recover.

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Merry Christmas, lovelies!

It's Christmassssssssss! (Sorry, I couldn't resist)!

After all those weeks of Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, and decking the halls, Christmas Day is finally here, and you'd better believe I'm loving every moment of it!

I'll be spending the day at home with just my immediate family, including my sister and brother-in-law who are visiting from Germany for a few days. I'm fully intending to eat lots of delicious festive treats, watch a couple of Christmas movies, blast out some festive tunes, and dress Rosie up in a Christmas jumper, before falling in to a food coma after our Christmas meal sometime around mid-afternoon. I can't wait!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas how ever you're spending it (or have a lovely day if you don't celebrate it), and get spoiled rotten with presents from your loved ones. Be sure to stuff your faces with delicious Christmas foods, and have a few drinks for me! You deserve it.

I'll be back in a day or two to fill you in on what I get up to, and what I got for Christmas, but for now I'm just going to log off and enjoy Christmas with my family.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
