Hey guys,
I've got the third instalment of the 5000 Question Survey for you today. Today I'm answering questions 51-75. You can read my answers to questions 1-25 here and 26-50 here if you're at all curious, and you can find all the questions to the survey here if you fancy giving the challenge a go yourself.
51. Make up a definition for the following silly words...
Fruitgoogle: The act of googling fruit on the Internet. As one often does.
Ambytime: A person located along side time.
Asscactus: A cactus commonly stuck where the sun don't shine.
52. What was the last thing you made with your own two hands?
I'm currently working on a Christmas cross stitch picture, and the other day I customized a cardigan with new toucan buttons.
53. What was your favourite toy as a child?
When I was six, I was given a stuffed rabbit teddy, which was brown and had the longest lopped ears I'd ever seen. I named him George, and would take him everywhere. It's still close to my heart today. I also loved Polly Pockets, Pound Puppies, Puppy in My Pocket, Sylvanian Families, and a beautiful dollshouse which my late grandfather made with his own two hands.
54. How many TVs are in your house?
We have at least four, but possibly five or six if we still have our two old TV / VCR combos stored somewhere.
55. What is your favourite thing to do outside?
That's a tie between going to outdoor concerts to watch my favourite bands play live, and going to the beach to swim and body board in the sea.
56. How do you feel when you see a rainbow?
I still look at rainbows in awe and think how incredible it is that all those colours exist naturally in the world. Rainbows make me smile.
57. Have you ever dreamt a dream that came true?
Yes. I've had numerous dreams which have then happened word for word and action for action in real life, usually within a week or month later. These dreams are rarely anything interesting or monumental; just a snippet of a future conversation or occurrence in my every day life, but when the moment comes, I'm always a bit taken a back with de ja vu knowing I dreamt it first.
58. Have you ever been to a psychic / tarot reader?
No, but I have witnessed both of my sisters get a reading a couple of times. I'm not sure if I believe in either profession, or not.
59. What is your idea of paradise?
My idea of paradise... That would be a place where I could live out my days watching my favourite bands and singers perform live every day from the front row of the audience with my concert buddies. A place where I could live near the sea and swim in it all day every day, if I wanted to... Perhaps I should alter that to a paradise where I could go to concerts in the sea, with the band performing before me on a floating stage?? That would be heavenly. And weird.
Paradise would also be a place with no pain, a never-ending walk in wardrobe filled with amazing colourful printed dresses, lots of colour, cute critters running around, and my favourite male singers and actors tending to my every need (topless, of course)!
60. Do you believe in god, and if so, what is he / she / it like?
No, I don't believe in God. I was raised Catholic and even went to a Catholic Primary school, as my Dad's side of the family are very religious, but it's never been something that I believed in or showed any interest in. I'm an atheist, but I respect other people's religions and religious views.
61. Do you believe in hell?
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Like I said above, I'm an atheist, but I'm also a believer of anything being possible. Sometimes I like to think there is life after death, whether it be in the form of reincarnation, or going on to another place, perhaps like a heaven or a hell. I mean, most of us hope that death isn't the end of life for us, right? As much as I hope we all go on to a better place after death, I can't reject the idea of there being an eternity of misery and horror waiting for us, either.
62. What one thing have you done that most people haven't?
I've been for a walk with three large adult Asian elephants! And, FYI, they walk fast. I blistered up my feet!
63. What is the kindest thing you have ever done?
I have absolutely no idea. You'd have to ask someone else who knows me or has met me, I guess.
64. Are you a patient person?
It depends on the situation, but generally... no! I'm terribly impatient in most situations, if truth be told. I get annoyed with people who take forever to do something that should take a split second, I'm impatient with people who are late or walk slowly in front of me. But... I am patient when it comes to things like queueing, customer service mistakes, issues with my back pain and my situation, awaiting late parcels, traffic jams and those sort of things. I am understanding in a lot of situations that would test other people's patience.
65. What holiday should exist but doesn't?
Christmas Two!
66. What holiday shouldn't exist but does?
Valentine's Day. Eurgh!
67. What's the best joke you ever heard?
I'm not very good at remembering jokes. Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
68. Where is the most fun place you have EVER been?
For me, that's any arena of theatre I've been to see Boyzone and Ronan Keating perform live in. Their concerts have left me with some of the most fun and hilarious moments with my best friend and concert buddies over the years. We always end up giggling away and having a ball, and the times we've had interaction with the band members on stage have mostly been hilarious. Glasgow SECC in 2011 was pretty memorable! To be honest, I get the same rush from seeing any of my favourite bands in concert, and from musicals at the theatre, too. I just love live music!
69. Is your hair natural or dyed?
My hair is dyed, which I think is pretty obvious considering the brightness of the red. I use Schwarzkopf's Live XXL hair dye in Real Red and my hair has been this colour for two and a half years. I'm naturally a dark brunette.
70. Do you have any deep dark secrets or are you pretty much up front?
I don't have any deep dark secrets, but I've spent my whole life feeling self conscious of people judging me, my interests and my actions negatively, so I do tend to keep certain things to myself or between a select few. I don't lie to people, I'm up front, and I don't keep the important things from those who need to know, but I don't feel the need to announce my every action to my Facebook friends and the rest of the world. There are just some things that nobody else needs to know.
71. What is under your bed right now?
Art and craft supplies, a hard drive, a metal tin full of buttons and sewing things, my memory box, a box of documents, a laptop case, a few cardboard folders filled with documents, drawing pins that fell and scattered, tissue paper for gift wrapping and a Christmas present or two.
72. If you were in the Land of Oz would you want to live there or go home?
I'd rather live in Wonderland. The wicked witch's flying monkeys have always freaked me out!
73. If you drive do you frequently speed?
I don't drive yet, but I doubt I'd make a habit of speeding. I like the thrill of a fast car, but I'm also too aware of the dangers on our roads and constantly worry about being in an accident when I'm in a car. So many fatal accidents have happened in my area over the years, including one which resulted in the death of a teenager who worked for the same company as I just half a mile after leaving work. He was eighteen and died instantaneously. I've not felt safe on the roads since that happened three or four years ago.
74. What is the world's best song to dance to?
I'm not much of a dancer (at all), but the Black Eyed Peas 'I Gotta Feelin' usually livens me up.
75. What song was on the last time you danced with someone?
The last time I did anything remotely resembling dancing would have been at a Ronan Keating concert in January with my best friend. The last song of the show was Life is a Rollercoaster, and I was holding on to the chair in front of me to keep myself on my feet, but there may have been a bit of swaying and bobbing my head involved! Oh what an image I'm painting for you!
asscactus silly words rock! and I only remember 1 joke and it's a bad one hehe, great list answers even the dancing, I like to dance and it's shocking x x
ReplyDeleteHaha, what's life without a bit of silliness?! I've never been good at jokes; sarcasm is more my fortay! Thank you. I've never been good at dancing- probably since I'm so awkward and have two left feet! But the main thing is you have fun while trying! xx
DeletePMSL at asscactus! :) That might be my new fave insult. x x

Well, two of them are really old- about 14 years old- and not used anymore. They're stored in the shed and will probably get sold on. And of the other four, only one of them is bigger than 18 inches.
DeleteAnd thank you!
That's exactly how I am, and I'm glad I'm not the only one! xx
