Oxblood, wine, burgundy, aubergine, maroon, or just simple dark red... what ever you like to call it, this season's hottest colour is a deliciously dark shade of red all the designers are calling oxblood. We're not talking bold, in your face scarlet or pillar box red, oh no. We'll leave that for the London buses for now. This season is all about the warm, dark wintery decadent hues.
There are a few different shades being labelled as Oxblood. Some are a little more purple, some a little more red. I'm not discriminating here, as I love the entire colour palette. They're some of my favourite colours, and are so much more appealing to me than pastels. I'm excited for a trend that actually works for my skin tone!
So, we'll call this my 'oxblood-wine-dark red-burgundy-aubergine-maroon-kinda purple-favourites-post'.
These are the beautiful items which have caught my eye from across the web- although I will say it's very ASOS heavy.

24. Accessorize chunky knit capped gloves £12.00
So many beautiful dresses, cosy knitwear, beautiful bags, some nail colours, and amazing shoes. You can hit two trends on the head with a touch of military, studs, or lace. Plus the flatform craze is continuing this season and is one I want to try soon.
I really don't know how I'll choose which piece to buy first, although I really love the ASOS knitted dress, the ASOS peter pan collar dress, the flatforms, the wolf backpack, and studded clutch. ASOS have so many lovely pieces right now, and their free delivery option really makes a difference when deciding what to buy. Though I really love the ottoman dress from Dorothy Perkins, perfect for transitioning in to Autumn, and the coat from F&F at Tesco is gorgeous, too.
