Friday I'm in Love

Happy Valentine's Day lovelies!

I know the day is almost over, but I hope it was a good one, and that you were able to spend it with your special someone or favourite bunch of people. Did any of you get swept off your feet this year? And not just from the gale-force winds!

My Valentine's Day has been spent curled up in bed with a headache and painful stomach cramps, on top of an angry back. I've mostly been watching rom coms and scrolling through Pinterest, so it's not all bad. I was hoping to dress up in something heart shaped for a Valentine's OOTD, but realistically, I think there was more chance of an alien invasion than that happening today. I couldn't even execute this post on time!

I've instead rounded up some of my heart-shaped outfits and accessories from previous posts for a little Valentine themed collage. I may be single, but I couldn't resist embracing a little of the love this Valentine's.

Black and Red Outfit // Zatchels Barrel Bag // Red and Navy Outfit // Topshop Bag // Punky Pins Necklace

My collection of heart print or heart shaped clothes and accessories isn't substantial, but I do love the small amount that I own. They're all so different but lovely.

I've blogged about each of the items before, apart from the adorable penguin necklace which I'll be blogging about properly in the next couple of days. You can read each of the posts for the other pieces via the links below the picture.

Happy Valentine's Day, guys!

  2. Stomach cramps and a bad back? oh I hope they have eased off, that's an evil duo - They are wonderful outfits though, no favourites, you look amazing in both and I can't believe how used I am to your shorter hair now, I double checked your longer hair (and it went longer, I'm sure!) - We had Valentines for 2 hours in Alder Hey, Missy had the mother of all skinned knees! she's fine! we did have an Indian takeaway eventually, yum!! x x x

    1. It's never a good combination, especially combined with a headache. I'm feeling a little better but still a bit under the weather, thanks, Sandra. I'm surprised you're used to my shorter hair already, since my outfit posts have been so few since the chop. It was definitely a bit longer when I got it cut; I think the photo above was taken late Summer and it was a couple of inches longer by the time I had it cut in late November. Aw, shame your Valentine's was short but sweet. I hope Missy is all better. xx
