I was giving my bedroom a quick spring clean last week after putting the Christmas decorations away, and realised there were a few purchases from the last couple of months which I had yet to share with all my lovely readers. It was an unusually bright and sunny winter afternoon so I was even able to take a few photos of them so I could write this post.
My latest treat was this beautiful Russian Doll bag from Accessorize. I bought it last week after seeing it on sale for just £12.50! I'm thrilled with this little purchase because I'd been admiring the bag since last summer. I have a thing for Russian dolls and believe life is better with a quirky accessory or two. You can find it online here.
I snagged myself a few pairs of PJ bottoms from Primark when I was Christmas shopping in November and needed to occupy myself while my sister had her nails done. I went in to see if I could find the Moomins and Care Bears PJs I'd seen on another blog, and amazingly, I found them both! They're PJ leggings with decent stretch, and I think they were £7 or £7.50 each. The two fleecy pairs were £5 each, and are so comfortable. I can't stop stroking the uber soft fleece.
The fairisle mittens are by TU at Sainsburys and I bought them a few months ago. I think they were on promo at the time, and were less than a fiver. They're lined with fleece on the inside, so they keep my hands all snug and warm.
I found myself the perfect winter hat, a red beret from Marks and Spencer's, and it only cost me £5! I adore it. The colour is no longer available online, but there are other colours to choose from.
I finally allowed myself to get the red and black checked midi skirt from ASOS Curve, after lusting over it for months. It was reduced to £12.50, so I really couldn't refuse. I also ordered the blue and black version, but the cut of it didn't look right on me so I sent it back.
And how could I forget to show you what I've dubbed 'The Mermaid Bag'? It's a holographic envelope snakeskin clutch bag, and oh my how those amazing colours glimmer and shine!
Just look at all those beautiful iridescent shimmering colours! They look just like the scales of a fish, or mermaid, if you prefer. It reminds me of the amazing Simply Be dress so many plus size bloggers have been rocking lately. The bag was only £15, so I couldn't say no!
What have you been buying lately?
