Wednesday Wish List

Another Wednesday, another Wednesday Wish List. I honestly don't know how the time in between these posts passes by so quickly.

Can you see a pattern in this week's lust list? It's only just occurred to me in the last couple of minutes that I've created one, and it was completely unintentional. Almost half of this wish list is made up of pieces with some form of woodland creature in the design! It's no secret that I love animal motifs, and quirky accessories, but I didn't set out to hunt for them, it happened organically.

There's the beautiful aubergine fox print dress by South for Very (1), which I ordered faster than you can say 'crazy dress lady', after seeing the lovely Vicky of The Curved Opinion wearing it on her blog a couple of days ago. I've never been so excited and desperate to own a piece of clothing than I was on Sunday evening. The print is amazing, and the colour is too perfect for words. Let's hope it lives up to the expectations when I pick the parcel up this afternoon.

If foxes aren't your cup of tea, I've also been admiring a sweet little badger ring from Accessorize (2), a Dorothy Perkins tee with two curious rabbits on the front (6), a Rosie Wonders bambi necklace (13), a cute little deer bag from Accessorize (5), and a satchel shaped like an owl (14), also by Accessorize. The only problem is, I can't decide which of them I love best. Perhaps I'll just have to buy them all.

My favourite item on this list, besides the fox print dress, is the red polka dot Accessorize scarf. I saw it in store recently, and it'll be perfect for my Autumn wardrobe. It's a gorgeous dark crimson red, and quite thick- I have to have it! Well, a girl can never have too many polka dots in her wardrobe!

I'm also loving the two Russian doll print New Look t-shirts (8 and 12), that I happened up on last night. I should mention they're not part of the Inspire range, though, I'm afraid, but they do go up to an 18. The same goes for the ASOS gingham smock dress (4), but since it's smocked I'd imagine it would fit a size or two larger. (They do have the same dress in the maternity section, though, if that works for you).

I'm already impressed by the first new season pieces that have started filtering in to our stores, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the new season has to offer. I'm looking forward to layering up for crisp frosty mornings, and dressing in darker colours such as forest green and burgundy again. I'm just not ready to admit that summer is almost over yet!

  3. I agree I love anything woodland inspired too, especially clothes. I love the whimsy of it and of course the cute animals. & that green scalloped bag is adorable,I've definitely been coveting a lot of bags from ASOS right now.

    1. I agree! What's life without a little whimsy? I love fashion to be fun and light-hearted, and can never say no to something cute and quirky! ASOS have had some fabulous bags this year, and they always seem more appealing when they're scalloped!

  5. Woah that first dress. The color, lace detail and sweetheart neckline... omg perfection. Keeping my fingers crossed it's as awesome irl!

    The bunny print shirt is too adorable, as it the russian doll print stuff you pinned earlier this week (can't wait for that to get here!). You have perfect taste imo, but I told you that already ^.^
