Sunday Favourites #41

Good morning folks,

I've been spoilt with inspiration this week, and have plenty to share with you, so I'm just going to skip all the rambling, and let you dive in! Enjoy.

These colours are so striking together. I can't wait to attempt it myself.

These colours are so summery!

Style inspiration from Mona Lisa Smile. Maggie Gyllenhaal's look is my favourite.

I'm in love with these bird house key hooks! I want them in my house!

Kate of Scathingly Brilliant has blogged a four part tour of her bedroom this week, and it has to be the most perfect and adorable room I've ever seen. Everything she owns is so pretty and interesting. Every post is fascinating, and you can see each post here: 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Great nail art.

I can never resist a colourful manicure, and this one is so funky.

This mixture of jewel tone colours and patterns is to die for. I love pairing these colours together.

I gain my inspiration from all kinds of fashions and cultures, and one of my biggest colour influences is easily from traditional Indian clothing. I saw this photograph and was immediately in awe at all the beautiful clothing and fabrics; and of course, in love with the use of bold colours and patterns paired together. (You all know how much I love my colour!) The purple, teal, and turquoise outfit at the bottom left is my favourite.

I love this gift wrapping idea of knotting coloured wool around a cardboard box.

What a great use of colour!

Had to get some pretty polka dot dresses in this post somewhere!

Dream hair.

These little piggies have bravely made friends with a Tiger.

This made me smile.

A kind gesture which restores your faith in people. It's nice to know that there are some truly selfless people in the world. You can read more acts of kindness here. I may have shed a tear at a few of them...

This is the Mirrorcube Tree Hotel, which is almost invisible thanks to the illusion of mirrored walls which reflect the surrounding trees. Amazing.

This peacock mirror tattoo is beautiful.

This lady looks fabulous. I need that dress!

A giant Great Dane, and a tiny fawn make friends. Aw.

Apparently this is a true story. You really couldn't make these things up! I'm not sure I would have allowed my husband to threaten me with a gun during every argument, though; loaded or unloaded!

I'll take a one-way ticket to where ever this is, please!

You wouldn't find a beach like this in England! Those shells are amazing.

I've got serious tattoo envy with these beautiful English country garden tattoos.

The visual merchandiser in me loves how this scene has been dressed. What a lovely setting for a balmy Summer evening.

This recipe for Rhubarb and Strawberry Lemonade sounds delicious.

I LOVE this idea of framing vintage scarves for unusual artwork. I can see myself doing this at some point.

There's nothing wrong with your body, but there's a lot wrong with the messages which try to convince you otherwise.
