After being spoilt with four new dresses, a skirt, a cardigan, and four bags in the last week or so (mostly birthday gifts), I can't say I'm really coveting anything new to the point of obsession this week. My shopping urges have been satisfied... for now.
I have plenty of new clothes and make up to wear and blog about, and a wardrobe one shopping spree away from buckling from the weight of my dress collection. I don't really need anything new at present.
There are, of course, still lots of lovely pieces I've stumbled upon, admired, and have saved and pinned for future consideration, like the wish list above.
I'm loving ASOS Curve#s selection of pretty colour-block and patterned dresses, and their Spring / Summer collections in general. My favourites are 1, 4, 6, and 9. I still find it refreshing that ASOS provide colourful, patterned and on-trend designs for the larger woman instead of just offering black shapeless basics to make us disappear in to the shadows. It's a rare quality for plus size brands, and I love that about them!
While we're on the subject of ASOS, have you seen the bunny ears quilted bag?! It's so Alice in Wonderland! I want it! The thunder cloud earrings are also pretty cute. I would equally love one of the Maggie Angus elephant necklaces, but I can't decide which colour way I like best. Maybe I need both. Which one do you prefer?
Aside from this list, I think what I'm most in need of right now are some light, airy casual dresses which I can wear to physiotherapy appointments in this insane heat without melting and looking over dressed. I realised on Monday that I really don't own anything suitable for physio when it's scorching hot like it is right now. I turned up in a casual knee-length sequined bandeau sun dress, and cropped leggings in the end on Monday. I'm never going to turn up wearing gym clothes, but I really should dress down and in to something a bit more breathable! Thankfully my usual attire doesn't affect my ability to stretch as I'm skint!
