Sunday Favourites #168

Hey guys,

How are you all this fine rainy Sunday?

Me? I feel like death. I've caught the most horrendous cold I've had in years (err, thanks, Sis), and I'm pretty sure the grim reaper will be in shortly to harvest my soul. I might let him.

I've had the cold for about a week, but was coping okay until Friday afternoon when the flu-symptoms began setting in, and then I started turning in to a pathetic mess. I can cope with chronic pain, but give me a bad cold and I'll start sobbing like a little girl. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does that? I was hoping I'd avoid getting the cold part, but I woke up yesterday with a horrible fever, cold, cough, aches, the works- and could barely lift my head off the pillow. I felt a little bit better by the evening, but I'm still missing one voice which went AWOL mid week. I never even got the "sexy phlegm" phase first, it just vanished. If you happen to find it, send it my way!

So, most of my blogging plans went out the window yesterday, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to put a Favourites post together this week, but I did my best to throw one together last night for you guys. There's not as much variety as usual, but I do still have plenty of awesome things to share with you. I hope you like them.

I love the hair and make up in Nylon's Galactic Power feature from Feb '15.

A Canadian couple have transformed their kitchen in to a real-life copy of The Simpsons' kitchen!

Here are some cute illustrations for all you single girls (and guys!), which made me laugh a lot. Especially the third one. It's highly likely!

I adore these embroidered tennis rackets by Danielle Clough. Amazing.

I'm so impressed with Danielle Clough's work that I had to share these beautiful embroideries, too. They're stunning! Just look at all that detail; they must have taken months to make.

This fox tattoo! One day I will get a fox tattoo, one day.

These baby otters are the cutest little critters ever.

These introvert illustrations made me laugh because I can relate!

Louise's Lovely Links

♥ I loved taking a peek at Kaylah's bulletin board.

♥ Hannah's hair looks gorgeous in her latest post- with and without the hair extensions she reviewed.

♥ Vicky wrote a fantastic opinion piece about why she's bored of the diet talk.

♥ Danielle wrote an inspiring piece about coping with a chronic pain condition.

♥ 13 funny illustrated comics all Introverts can relate to. This post is basically me to a tee!

♥ An inspirational Facebook status penned by a man named Matthew DeRemer has gone viral after he was tragically killed in a road accident later that same day. It's sad that someone with such a positive outlook on life was taken so young, but his words are so inspiring.

♥ Artist S0alaina has created a series of drawings of Disney animals as they might look as humans.

If you'd like to see more stuff like this, why not check out my Tumblr and Pinterest accounts?

Thanks for reading.
