101 Things in 1001 Days Progress July and August 2014

It's been a couple of months since my last 101 in 1001 update, but I haven't made great progress since then. I barely left the house in July and August, except for several demanding hospital appointments, and I wasn't really able to go out and have some fun, and cross off some goals in the process.

My achievements were mostly little things I enjoyed from the comfort of my bed, like reading and creative writing.

Read 50 Books (19 / 50)

I read two books during July: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, which I absolutely adored, and The 100 by Kass Morgan, which was a surprisingly good read. I'm really enjoying the TV series at the moment, and when I realised it was based on a novel I had to check it out.

In August I didn't manage to read a single book, which was very unusual for me. My head was too cluttered with thoughts to concentrate on one.

Discover 50 new songs (5 / 50)

Back in July I discovered the debut single from No Devotion, the new band from the surviving members of Lostprophets and former Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly. I'm so pleased that Lostprophets have regrouped, because they were one of my favourite bands for over a decade, and I've missed listening to their music. No Devotion's debut single sounds very similar to the Lostprophets sound, and I personally love it. I can't wait to hear more of what they have to offer.

Watch 5 new films at the cinema (5 / 5)

I went to see The Fault in Our Stars at the cinema on my birthday, and loved it. I bawled my eyes out! I've now completed my goal of seeing five films at the cinema! Yay!

I also watched two new-to-me- films, TFIOS and First Wives Club, bringing the total to 11 / 50!

Create an injury inspiration journal

I began my disc injury journal about a year ago to give myself a place to record significant moments of my journey and anything which inspires me to stay positive, like quotes and lyrics. I've completed a few pages in recent weeks.

Go out for Dinner

I went out for dinner at a new local diner in July, although I don't have any photo evidence because my phone died.

Complete the book 642 things to write about

This creative writing book is far from complete, but I finished many of the tasks this summer.

Buy the 642 things to draw book

I've wanted the 642 Things To Draw book for a couple of years, and I finally picked it up with some birthday money. I haven't completed any of the prompts yet; but I'm looking forward to getting stuck in soon.

Complete the Listography books

And finally, I've finished several more lists in my Listography books, including this one of My Top 20 Most Beloved Books from the Literary Listography: My Reading Life in Lists book.

Do you have a 101 in 1001 list? I'd love to see them, so leave your links below!

101 Things in 1001 Days Progress: April-June 2014

Hi guys,

It's been a couple of months since I last posted an update for my 101 in 1001 Days challenge, so today's post is long over due! Today I'm going to show you what I achieved during April, May, and June.

Visit Bourton on the Water

I visited Bourton-on-the-Water with one of my sisters just over a week ago. It was a beautiful, hot sunny day, and we sat down by the river with an ice cream to take advantage of the good weather. You can read all about my visit in my recent blog post here.

Go to the Wildlife Park.

My local wildlife park is one of my favourite places, and I managed and survived a trip there with my sister and brother-in-law a few weeks ago. I didn't think I'd be able to go, but in the end I just thought 'sod it!' and decided to give it my best shot. I just really wanted to go, and I was fed up of missing out on life. I devised a plan to make it easier and even though it's not a large zoo, I had to take lots of rests. The pain was intense, but I made it out alive! I'll be blogging about my visit there a little later in the week.

Buy a new bedside lamp.

I've been needing to replace my bedside lamp for a couple of years; the lampshade had fallen apart, and for some reason it was causing all the lights in the house to flicker every two minutes. I knew it was time to replace it before I set my house on fire. I bought two porcelain lamps with pretty Cath Kidston-style lampshades (complete with pom-poms!) from Dunelm on sale for less than £10 each a couple of weeks ago. I'd been admiring them since last Autumn, so I'm pleased I managed to snap a pair up before they sold out. They're far prettier in the flesh than in the stock photos, and the quality of them is fantastic, especially considering how inexpensive they were.

Clean up and back up all my files.

I recently finished backing up all of my files, which took me the best part of a week. I have a lot of music, photos, and videos. Now everything is safely backed up, I should be able to get my laptop sent off to get repaired or replaced really soon. It's been in desperate need of specialist help for over a year. Oops.

Watch at least 5 new films at the cinema. (4 / 5)

I managed to go see Divergent (twice!) in April, which I absolutely adored, and I also saw The Other Woman not quite two weeks ago, which was random but fun. There was a deal on that day where you could get two tickets, plus drinks, and popcorn for £10 for that particular film. I think Cineworld offer the deal each Thursday on one film, and it's worth taking advantage of when there's a decent film on!

Watch every DVD I own. (73 / ?)

Over the last few months I've not been all that inspired by my DVD collection, and I haven't watched many that I haven't already checked off. I got through just eight more films, including: Australia, The Lake House, Safe Haven, Pride and Prejudice, Remember Me, Coyote Ugly, Mona Lisa Smile and The Invasion, taking my watched list to 73 out of an estimated 300. Pitiful!

Watch 50 new films. (9 / 50)

I saw four new-to-me films during the last three months, so I'm one film away from achieving twenty percent of this goal. I saw Divergent and The Other Woman at the cinema, and caught The Invasion and The King's Speech on TV for the first time. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed The King's Speech! Such a beautiful film!

Discover 30 great new albums. (7 / 30)

A couple of weeks ago I excitedly downloaded Linkin Park's new album The Hunting Party. I am in love with it! I've been a big fan of Linkin Park since 2000/2001 when Hybrid Theory was first released, and I've loved how their music has evolved over the years; every album has a different sound and I love them all. The Hunting Party goes back to their rock roots, with their heaviest album in more than a decade, and it's a bloody awesome album! They never disappoint.

Read 50 books. (18 / 50)

Over the last few months, I've not done very well with my reading goals. I've got so many books waiting to be read, but I haven't been all that motivated to read them. I've only managed to finish three books in as many months, which is pitiful. I read Surviving the Evacuation Book One: London and Book Two: Wasteland by Frank Tayell, and The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I will be reviewing the latter soon, and the former two once I've read the third book in the series. I'm now about a third of the way through The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, which I hope to finish before I see the film.

Complete the 5000 Question Survey. (200 / 5000)

I've actually had this sitting in my drafts for months!

I don't think I've done too badly over the last few months under the circumstances, but I can certainly do much better. Hopefully July will be a much more productive month!

101 Things in 1001 Days Progress Feb/Mar 2014

Well, hello there!

I thought it was about time I posted an update on my 101 Things in 1001 Days list; it's been a while!

I didn't post an update last month with February's progress because I didn't achieve all that much. What can I say? It's been an uneventful year so far for me, and I've been physically and emotionally drained. I've been finding it difficult to function, and basically just lost my mojo for a lot of pastimes that I normally enjoy. C'est la vie. I have still managed to make some progress, and completed a couple of goals, and today my progress will cover both February and March. Let's see what I've been up to...

Read 50 Books. (14/50)

Over the last couple of months, I've been struggling to concentrate on reading anything book-wise. I've only finished three since the beginning of February! I've just been in one of those funks where I've not been enjoying anything all that much, which is probably just a result of me feeling a bit down for a while.

I read book four of The Darkness Series: Death's Valley by Leonard D. Hilley which is a dystopian / sci-fi series that I really enjoyed.

I also jumped on the band-waggon and read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, just before the movie hit the big screen. It was one of the loveliest, most beautifully written novels I've ever read! I urge you all to read it!

After The Book Thief, I attempted to start four or five different novels, reading a chapter or two of each and giving up. I couldn't get in to anything. I eventually got through Colony Z: The Island by Luke Shephard, which was a short zombie novel, before starting another zombie-orientated book called Surviving The Evacuation by Frank Tayell, which I'm still reading now. I'll review them all for you at a later date. Hopefully I'll be able to do a little better with my reading goals during April.

Watch at least 5 films at the cinema. (2/5)

A few days after I finished the novel of The Book Thief, my older sister and I went to see the movie adaptation at the cinema. It was so beautiful, so lovely, and so sad! I bawled my way through it, and didn't leave with much make up left on my face. I can honestly say The Book Thief was one of the most beautifully made films I've ever seen, and it thankfully did the book justice, even though so much had to be left out. Geoffrey Rush made a perfect Hans Hubberman!

The Book Thief brings my goal of watching at least five films at the cinema to 2/5.

Watch 50 new films. (5/50)

Along with The Book Thief, I also saw About Time on DVD for the first time recently, which was another great movie. It starred Rachel McAdams, who I absolutely love. Does she ever do a bad film? I think not!

Discover 30 great new albums. (6/30)

March happened to be a Book Thief sort of month for me, and I couldn't stop myself from downloading the soundtrack which was conducted by John Williams. I've  loved soundtracks and scores from movies for as long as I can remember. The Book Thief's score is beautiful.

I also acquired Night Visions by Imagine Dragons, which I'm really enjoying at the moment.

Watch Every DVD I Own 65/?

I've been struggling to concentrate on anything over the last two months, often preferring to sit in silence whilst blogging and surfing the net. I revisited a few films that I've already crossed off the list, and I also watched Catching Fire more than once, but in total I've watched 12 more of my DVDs over the past two months, shown above, bringing the total watched so far to 65.

Complete the book 642 Things to Write About

I've completed a few more prompts in the 642 Things to Write About book. I often pick up the book before bed and try to give a prompt or two a shot before I fall asleep. The snippet above was for a prompt entitled. 'Write what somebody wearing something red is thinking'. I decided she was nervous because she usually hid herself away in black. I apparently have the penmanship of a chimpanzee at five in the morning!

Attend at least 3 concerts. (3/3)

In March, I fulfilled a nine year old dream and took a little trip to see Fall Out Boy live for the very first time. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen, and it surpassed all my expectations; they were even better live than I could've imagined. I had such a fantastic time and I can't tell you how good it was to have a night of normalcy.

Spending a night away from home to catch a concert used to be the norm for me, but this particular trip was a big deal since my injuries have changed my life so much these past two and a half years. It was a challenge and it was agony; I put my body through a lot, and I still haven't recovered from going, but it was worth every extra ounce of pain, and I only wish I could re-live it all again! In going, I was able to complete my goal of seeing at least 3 concerts!

You can read my post on that little milestone here, where there are also a few videos I took that night.

Get my Jewellery Hooks Up On The Wall.

I can't take the credit for completing this goal, because it was my Dad who finally put them up for me, but I finally have my jewellery hooks up on the wall! Yay! I'd only been waiting for fifteen months... (I'd have done it myself, but our walls are a nightmare to drill in to).

You can see more of my jewellery storage in part one of my dressing table tour.

Goals completed in Feb/March: 2
Goals in progress in Feb/March: 9

Goals in progress: 9
Goals completed: 14
% complete: 13
Days to go: 790

And that is February and March's progress in a nut shell. I completed two goals, which isn't bad, but I hope to achieve a little more during April.

101 Things in 1001 Days Progress: Jan 2014

Once again I'm over a week late in posting January's progress on my 101 Things in 1001 Days list, but better late than never, right?

In January, I was able to cross a couple of goals of this list, and made good progress with several others. I think I advanced particularly well on my reading goals, as I've really been enjoying curling up with my Kindle lately.

Here's what I achieved during the first thirty-one days of 2014...

Goals in Progress

Read 50 New Books (11 / 50)

I've set myself the challenge of reading fifty books by the time the 1001 days are up, and last month I devoured another four novels; bringing the total read so far up to eleven. I also vowed to read more in 2014, and considering I read just thirteen books last year, I think I'm off to a pretty good start!

On January's reading list was Allegiant by Veronica Roth; the last book in the Divergent saga. I enjoyed the series so much, I was so sad to finish it, and it even made me cry. I've never sobbed actual tears over a book before, but wow, Allegiant was an emotional ride!

I also started working my way through the Darkness books by Leonard D. Hilley. I discovered the first book, Predators of Darkness for free on Kind of Book, and I'm so glad I downloaded it as I've thoroughly enjoyed reading them. I flew through Predators of Darkness, Aftermath of Darkness, and Game of Pawns, and now I'm reading the fourth book, Death Valley. I won't talk about them just yet, as I'm planning to review both series really soon, but I'd recommend both series if you love dystopian style novels like I do.

Discover 50 Great New Songs (3 / 50)

Well, these songs aren't exactly new, but I downloaded Pink's Raise Your Glass and The Goo Goo Dolls' Better Days, which are on the soundtrack to the film New Year's Eve, a film I've been enjoying lately. Uplifting songs are a  great way to treat the January blues, and these two worked for me.

Discover 30 Great New Albums (4 / 30)

Last week, I downloaded the new album from You Me At Six, and I'm really enjoying it so far! I've never really listened to You Me At Six before, and I'm not sure why because I love this style of music, and my younger sister used to play them a lot (during her mid noughties emo phase). I'm going to have to check out some of their older stuff now, too.

Watch 50 New Films (2 / 50)

I finally got around to watching Never Let Me Go, which my little sister lent me about six months ago! It's about a world where humans are cloned and raised solely to become organ donors for non-cloned humans. Once these people become adults, they're forced to start donating their organs one by one until they no longer have enough left to live themselves. The main characters (Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield) are locked in a love triangle, and desperately cling to the rumour that if they're in love, they'll be granted a few extra years to live before they begin sealing their fate. The film is really heart-breaking, and it left me questioning the moral and ethical sides to cloning / raising humans to save the life of another. I now know I'd be one hundred percent against it. The idea disturbs me.

Watch Every DVD I Own (53 / ?)

January was the month for chick flicks and disaster movies. I watched The Sound of Music, Valentine's Day, Knowing, The Happening, The Village, The Day After Tomorrow, Dante's Peak, Corrina Corrina, Sex and the City, Pretty Woman, and Julie and Julia. Which means I crossed another eleven DVDs off the list!

Complete the 5000 Question Survey (175 / 5000)

I answered questions 151-175 a couple of weeks ago, which you can catch up on via the link. I'm currently working on the next 25 questions which I hope to post really soon. It's much harder to answer than it would seem!

Complete the book 642 Things To Write About

642 Things To Write About is a great book filled with creative writing prompts, and I returned to it several times during January. I think I completed at least another six or seven tasks last month. The one above was a short list of some of the things I hope to do before I die. I may be shy, but I'm also a thrill seeker!

Complete the Listography Books (0 / 5)

I have five different books from the Listography series, and recently I've got in to the habit of filling in a page or two before bed. I really enjoy stepping back and thinking about my answers to the prompts; trying to personally define subjects I may have given little thought to in the past.

One of the last lists I filled in was 'my personal fashion trends over the years', part of which you can see above. I began the list thinking I didn't really have personal fashion trends before I hit my twenties, but as I began brain storming, I proved myself wrong. The memorable 'trends' of my past spilled on to the page, and overflowed in to the margins. Most of what you can see above was worn in the nineties, a decade when I was such a tomboy and had little interest in fashion. Scrunchies! Cycling shorts! Inflatable bags! What a time to be alive. What was I thinking?

Clean up and Back Up My Music, Photos and Files

This is a boring one, but something I really need to do so I can get my laptop fixed or replaced; the cooling system has been buggered for so long, I fear it'll explode if I ignore it much longer! I finally organised and backed up all my Music and other Itunes files in January, but with 70gb of files, it took me the best part of a week! Thank God that's over! Just the rest to do now... *sigh*

Listen to Every Song in My Itunes Library

I listened to quite a lot of tunes... but I deleted my iTunes library and started from scratch, so I've erased all my play counts... I couldn't keep track of this one if I tried. Hmm.

Goals Completed

Create a Cross Stitch Project

January was the month that I finally completed my Christmas cross stitch, which I'd been working on since September. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome, and now I just need to get it framed in time for Christmas! You can read more about this little project here.

After a few weeks of pondering, I eventually decided to buy a new kit to challenge myself with, and I went with this one. It's a little larger than I realised, but what's life without a little challenge now and then?

Buy New Bedding

I've been meaning to buy some new bedding for so long, as I've been making do with a single duvet on a double bed. My Mum treated me to a lovely new duvet, so I sourced a new duvet set. I even managed to find one similar to the Next set which matches my curtains, so I don't even have to worry about buying new curtains to match!

101 Things in 1001 Days Progress December 2013

Hey guys,

I've been meaning to blog about my 101 Things in 1001 Days progress for December for over a week now, but the dark winter days have prevented me from documenting each goal with a photo. Winter light and a compact camera just aren't a reliable combination for great photos, so I've been waiting for some half-decent day light so I could take them. I awoke to bright sunshine today, and made a mad dash to photograph everything I owned before the sun went down. Slight exaggeration, but I did take 300 photos! So here I bring you my December 101 in 1001 progress with pictures!

Would you like to see what I've been up to?

Goals in Progress

Watch Every DVD I Own 42/300+

December was a month when I mostly over-dosed on Christmas films; rewatching some I'd watched in November, and working my through others in my festive film collection. I love getting in to the Christmas spirit with festive films, so I own a fair few! (More than shown in the photo above!)

The movies I was able to cross off the list were: The Polar Express; Meet Me in St. Louis; Deck the Halls; The Muppet Christmas Carol; The Snowman; two Christmas themed The Simpsons DVDs; Four Christmases; Letters to Juliet; The Vow; Hairspray (John Travolta version) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1 and 2.

Watch 50 New Films 1/50

In December, I only managed to watch one new-to-me film, which was Shrek Ever After. What can I say? It was on TV and nothing else was on, so I gave it a shot. It wasn't as good as the first two Shrek films, but I admit I enjoyed it!

Read 50 Books 6/50

With so much to do before Christmas, I only made it through one book in December: Insurgent by Veronica Roth. It's the second book in a dystopian trilogy about a society separated in to five factions ruled by a particular human trait- selflessness, bravery, intelligence, honesty and peace. If you love The Hunger Games, I'm confident you'll enjoy the series, too.  I'm just about to start the third book, Allegiant, and once I'm finished, I'll be sure to write a proper review on the series. The books are well worth a read, and I think everybody should read them!

Create a Cross Stitch Project

My plan to have my Christmas cross stitch finished and framed by Christmas didn't go to plan. I made a small mistake and had to unpick the two turkeys, which left me without enough thread to complete the project. I tried compromising with different colours, but I didn't like the results (the dark lilac above). I finally made it to the sewing shop for new threads this week, so I'll have it rectified and completed in no time. Just in time for... Easter. Hmm.

Listen to Every Song in my Itunes Library

In December, I mostly listened to festive tunes. I have no idea how many songs I listened to, all I know is that I listened my way through well over a hundred of them.

Find the Perfect Red Lipstick

On my quest for the perfect red lipstick, I bought a Bourjois Color Boost lip crayon in Red Island. The colour is the perfect blue-based red and I love the smooth formula, but sadly it left a lot to be desired. It claims to last for ten hours, but I'm lucky if it remains in place for half an hour. Must keep looking.

Clean up and Back Up my Music, Photos and Files.

My main reason for this goal is so that I can back up all my important files and send my laptop off to be repaired or replaced. (The cooling system and battery are buggered, and it's sounded like a washing machine on a spin cycle for over a year). Laptop surgery is drastically needed.

Last week I managed to go through all my music files and organise them properly. It took days of work. I discovered that iTunes had backed up most of my music files two or three times each and I had to delete each one by hand! Nightmare! I freed up over 30gb of space in the process.

Goals Completed

Make it to a Boyzone concert in Nov / Dec 2013 and Attend at least 3 concerts.

I'm happy to say that I not only made it to one Boyzone concert in December; I made it to two! My best friend and I met up to see them together at Bournemouth at the start of the month. We've been going to see their concerts together for seventeen years now, and I wasn't going to allow my injuries to stop me from carrying on with the tradition. We had a lot of fun getting up to our usual shenanigans, and it was lovely to catch up with her in person.

My older sister then took me to see them in Brighton a couple of weeks later, where we ended up battling 100mph winds as we tried to walk a short distance to the venue along the sea front. It was equal parts hilarious and terrifying! The winds were so strong it felt like being engulfed under water, and was difficult to breathe! Scary times.

Both shows inflicted a lot of pain on me which left me immobile for the rest of December, but they were both so worth the extra pain and difficulties! The concerts were both so much fun, and some of the best I've seen yet, and it was lovely to just do something normal for a change. Something fun, something I enjoyed. It was a big deal for me to overcome the hurdles and mark those little milestones.

Try a New Sweet Recipe

For New Year's, I made a Nutella Cheesecake for the first time using a Nigella Lawson no bake recipe. It was incredibly easy to make, and only took me ten minutes! I added some Ferrero Rochers as an extra touch, but not as many as I planned as my family ate the rest when my back was turned! (Thieving buggers!) The cheesecake was delicious and everybody loved it, so I may have to make it again next Christmas. (I didn't manage to get a photo of the whole cheesecake once it had set, as my family cut in to it without me when I slept past dinner time!)

Buy a New iPod Dock

On Christmas Eve, I popped in to Sainsburys with my sister to pick up a few last minute things, and came home with a new iPod dock. It was on promotion for just £10 down from £30, so I seized the opportunity. It's just a cheap InspiRED dock, but the sound quality is actually quite impressive, and it even charges the iPod, so I'm pleased with my purchase. It's nice to play music on something other than my laptop for a change!

Buy a Curling Wand and Start Curling My Hair

I was given a Remington curling wand for Christmas. Now I just need to work on my technique.

Make Personalised Christmas Crackers.

I made crackers for Christmas using a kit I bought from Hobby Craft, and filled them with Christmas scratch cards, chocolates, and red festive confetti. My family loved them!

Goals Completed in December: 5
Goals in Progress in December: 8

Goals in Progress Overall: 17

Days Left: 876

So, in December I completed five goals, and made progress on a further seven, which isn't bad at all! Let's hope I do even better in January.

101 Things in 1001 Days: November 2013

Hey guys,

I'm a few days late in writing this post, but this is the first chance I've had to write it.

So, as some of you will know, I'm currently challenging myself with a 101 Things in 1001 Days list, and vowed to post monthly updates on my progress to keep myself motivated. Today I'm focusing on what I achieved during November. You can also see the full list of 101 Things here.

Goals in Progress

Watch 50 New Films 1 / 50  and  Watch at least 5 films at the cinema 1 / 5

In November I made my second cinema trip of the year to see 'Catching Fire', the second film in The Hunger Games saga.  My little sister and I went on the day it was released, and what can I say? The film was AMAZING! It was even better than the first Hunger Games movie, and very true to the book, which I was pleased about. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, marvelling at how right they got it. The entire film was perfect down to the last detail, and I urge you all to go see it if you haven't already. I'm dying to see it again, but that's probably a bad idea since I couldn't move for a few days after I went to see it! It was worth it, though! It's the best film I've seen in quite a while.

Can I have Gale aka Liam Hemsworth under my tree on Christmas morning, please?

Watch Every DVD I Own 29 / ?

I crossed ten more movies off the list last month. It was a month of Christmas movies and The Hunger Games (again)! I watched The Holiday, Love Actually, While You Were Sleeping, Elf, Miracle on 34th Street, The Santa Clause, Santa Claus the Movie, Sex and the City 2, New Year's Eve, and the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special.

Anybody would think I'm getting excited for Christmas...

Discover 30 New Albums 3 / 30

Last week I bought Boyzone's new album 'BZ20', an album marking their twentieth anniversary as a band! I can't believe I've been hooked on them for nineteen of those years! I was just nine when I got in to them... I feel old. Their sound has matured a lot since 1993, and I'm loving their new tunes. I'm not much of a pop  fan, but this album is great!

Read 50 Books 6 / 50

I got through three more novels last month. Once I finished Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, I tried getting in to three or four new books, reading a few chapters of each, but I was still in the Hunger Games bubble and couldn't get in to anything. Am I the only one who sometimes mourns a good book once the last word has been devoured?

Eventually, I moved on to How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff; a book I read years ago and enjoyed. It's aimed at a younger audience, to be completely honest, but I enjoyed reading it again and flew through it in two days. I then moved on to Divergent by Veronica Roth , which I absolutely loved. It's another dystopian world type saga, and if you like The Hunger Games, I think you'll enjoy it, too. I've just started the second book in the series: 'Insurgent', (which is fantastic so far), and I'll do a full review of the series when I've read all three books. I hear Divergent is being turned in to a film due out around spring time, so it's a great time to check the books out, before it hits the big screen.

Complete A Cross-Stitch Project

I didn't do much cross-stitching in November, but I've almost finished my Christmas picture now. I probably would've been done by now, if I hadn't made a slight placement error with two turkeys. It took me over an hour to unpick them last night, but I should have it finished and framed in no time.

Listen to Every Song in My iTunes Library.

I've been listening to dozens of the Christmas tunes I have in my library, along with a bit of Boyzone. Perfect winter music! 100% Christmas is my favourite Christmas album; we've played it every year since 1994.

Make It to a Boyzone Concert.

Providing I don't collapse in transit, I should be ticking this one off the list later today! Right now I'm unsure how I'm going to manage the two hour journey and being out and about, but I'm hoping the pain will get masked by adrenaline. Wish my luck!

Goals Completed

Find the Perfect Winter Coat.

Check! I purchased this gorgeous berry coloured fit and flare coat a couple of weeks ago from Evans. It's beautiful and the shape is absolutely perfect for wearing over all my dresses. I'm planning on reviewing it properly soon.

Get My Hair Cut Shorter Again.

And another one to check off the list! Last week I took the plunge and got an entire foot of hair amputated! I'm still getting used to it, but I'm enjoying the change.

Reread The Hunger Games Trilogy

Check! I read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire in October, and finished re-reading Mockingjay at the beginning of November. I want to read them all over again!

Progress

Goals Completed This Month: 3 / 101
Goals in Progress This Month: 8 / 101

Goals Completed So Far: 5 / 101
Goals in Progress So Far: 15 / 101
Goals to Start: 81 / 101

Days to Go: 912 / 1001

I still don't feel like I achieved an awful lot in November, but I crossed three goals off the list, which isn't bad. I wonder how well I'll do this month!

Do you have a 101 in 1001 Days / Mission 101 list? Leave me your links; I'd love to see them!
