I can't believe she's 6 months! I really enjoy the Rosie updates as i'm completely living through you right now! I did just get to spend 2 weeks at my parents with their 3 cavalier king charles spaniels though, so I got a bit of a dog fix.Natalie Mulfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17267930209224911887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4424215569183898860.post-18507788644399581822016-06-25T00:28:56.366+01:002016-06-25T00:28:56.366+01:00Don't worry, I always discourage her and take ...Don't worry, I always discourage her and take them straight off her, use the clicker trainer, and reward her with a treat or a toy. We don't let her keep anything she shouldn't be playing with and always keep an eye on her, just in case. She doesn't actually eat them; just gnaws on their shells, but thankfully she's doing this less now the teething has slowed down again and the training is working. I'm hoping she doesn't go after slugs as I hate the thought of having to grab one out of her mouth. (So gross!) Luckily, we've not really had any around since we got her, but I'll be keeping her away from them when we do. No lungworm for this puppy! I love patterdales, by the way! They're so adorable! :)Louise https://www.blogger.com/profile/00662177575354379847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4424215569183898860.post-36546263607525898292016-06-24T22:37:07.632+01:002016-06-24T22:37:07.632+01:00she is adorable, but you should discorage her from...she is adorable, but you should discorage her from eating snails (& slugs) as they carry lungworm which can be fatal (google it) i have three patterdales all under 3years old and they are buggers for eating snails so we taught them to trade (nothing is more gross than a second hand damp snail/slug) so we swap the gross snail for a high value treat, it does work well (IF i catch them in time)dollfacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08072998829304511537noreply@blogger.com
