Sunday Favourites #287

Here are this week's favourites to brighten your day. Enjoy!

These DIY allsorts candy boxes from Studio DIY are so cute.

Some lovely colour inspiration, and a fun ombré script pinata from Oh Happy Day.

I also love these pretty flatlays from Oh Happy Day's post on how to become a better crafter.

This awesome patch from Punky Pins.

How cute are these chocolate peanut butter thumbprint cookies from Aww Sam?!

Everybody needs a rainbow dessert in their life now and then, like these cheerful rainbow mousse shooters from Club Crafted.

Looking for some art to brighten up your desk? This gorgeous DIY printable vacation art from Lovely Indeed would sure do the trick.

Ever wondered how to arrange teeny tiny bouquets? Paper & Stitch have plenty of tips to help you get started.

I love A Beautiful Mess's DIY for unicorn sugar scrub.

I want to make this beautiful easy yarn wall art DIY from A Beautiful Mess, too.

These hand embroidered cacti pendant necklaces (top // middle // bottom) from Itty Bitty Bunnies are absolutely gorgeous.

I treated myself to this adorable Hazel the Fox cross stitch kit from The World In Stitches last week. It's too cute for words, and I highly recommend it!

These rainbow meringues from Club Crafted look ah-mazing!

I wish our shower was over the bath tub because this iridescent shower curtain is to die for. Sadly, we have a separate shower cubicle and no need for one. Sob.

Kimberley Margarita's make up skills are phenomenal!

Izzy Wheels, a company created by two Irish sisters, allows wheelchair users to personalise their source of independence with beautiful, colourful, patterned spoke guards! Love everything about this!

These cityscapes by Albin Talik look like oil paintings, but are in fact created using only paper and glue!

And this unicorn tattoo by Martyna Popiel is stunning.

♥ 17 slightly strange things about British homes that Americans will never get. It's not strange to us Brits! It makes perfect sense.

♥ 17 times British food confused the fuck out of Americans. The confusion about the purpose of egg cups made me laugh so much!

♥ "If I open up to you about my illness, please don't invalidate me." Just listen, try to put yourself in their shoes, and be supportive.

♥ Please don't say "there's always something wrong with you..." to a person with a chronic illness. It's always disheartening to hear because it feels like the person doesn't believe we're ill, and that we're just seen as burdensome hypochondriacs.

♥ An anti-immigrant group mistook empty bus seats for women wearing burqas... I really shouldn't laugh about this, but it's just so hilarious!

♥ Boat captain rescues a pregnant cat that was thrown off a bridge. I hope karma finds the evil person who threw the cat over the bridge.

♥ Your size has nothing to do with how happy you'll be on your wedding day. Callie looked so beautiful on her wedding day, and her story is inspiring.

♥ This bakery owner had a brilliant response to people asking for freebies. This happens so much in the blogging world, too. Everybody wants something for free these days, but exposure does not pay the bills! It's shocking so many people expect small businesses, creatives, and bloggers to work for free; I'm sure they'd never dream of working for exposure if the tables were turned.
