Sunday Favourites #61 (Christmas Special)

Morning lovelies,

It's the time of the week when I share my favourite images, quotes, and links of the week, but since it's almost Christmas, this week's Serendipity Sunday post is a special Christmas edition! I've collected together some of my favourite Christmas-themed pins and catalogued them here, especially for you to feast your eyes on this fine Sunday. Enjoy!

This red velvet snow cake with snowman macarons is so fantastic, I just had to share it here for the second week running! I'm probably going to give the macarons a go myself on Christmas Eve, if I'm well enough to manage a little baking. I honestly think this is one of the best Christmas cake designs I've ever seen.

Honeycomb decorations.

These Christmas Cookie Ice Cream Shots look delicious, and they can be made alcoholic and non-alcoholic!

These pastel Christmas cookies look too pretty to eat.

I don't usually like white Christmas trees, but this display is beautiful.

How cosy does this room look?!

I love the vintage baubles and ornaments on this wreath.

Who says Christmas presents can't be sweet, floral, and girlie?

I'm in love with this robin tattoo. I can see myself getting one.

Amazing festive eye make up. For a more wearable, every day look you could leave out the red shadows and snowflakes, and stick to the silver lid.

Lovely red and white Christmas nails.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this! Anyone with me?

I LOVE these toadstool decorations! I need them.

These Christmas Pudding biscuits look fantastic.

And here's a very proud pug strutting his stuff in a Christmas outfit!

Sweet needle felted penguins.

Another robin tattoo I love.

This nail art tutorial looks like fun!

It's an unusual colour combination for eye make up, but I love how it reminds me of a traditional Christmas colour scheme.

More lovely honeycomb decorations. And deer.

I agree!

I now want to build snowmen out of mash on Christmas Day... but I'm not supposed to play with my food...

The perfect Christmas tree and colour scheme, in my opinion.

I recently discovered the Christmas jar idea. Throughout the year, you fill a jar with your loose change, and come Christmas time you choose somebody to give the jar of money to! It's a great way of spreading a random act of kindness to a person in need, a charity, a loved one, or a random stranger. I don't know why the idea never came to me before, but it's one I'd love to do in the future.

You're welcome.

This reindeer-bulldog isn't impressed at being left 'til last! Bah! Humbug!

~  I love the idea of putting together a Christmas Box of things to enjoy on Christmas Eve. I first saw this post last Christmas, which was aimed at Children, but it could easily be altered for adults. Milk Bubble Tea's ideas for a Christmas Eve Box aimed at adults is also fantastic. I want to put my own together!

  2. you told us about the 'woman gives her family an unforgettable Christmas' and I still read it at 8.45am, I was in shreds, what an incredible story - cats hugging snowmen, oh how gorgeous! and I can't wait for the dinner table conversation! sometimes can be a a lot of fun , one year we laughed for an age over my brothers outdoor pants, I can't even explain! it was painfully funny x x x
