My 15 Favourite Christmas Jumpers 2013

Morning lovelies,

Can you believe it's just eleven days until Christmas? I honestly have no idea where the last two weeks have gone; and I feel so disorganised this year. The decorations are up, the presents are all wrapped, but I still feel like I have a million things to do. So, as usual I'm just going to procrastinate some more and talk about clothes instead of doing something a little more productive at home. Sound good? Okay.

So, let's talk some clothes! Christmas jumpers, to be more precise...

Novelty Christmas jumpers have become one of this season's biggest trends, and they're everywhere we turn. Yes, we wouldn't touch one with a barge pole just a couple of years ago, but today, we can wear our reindeer jumpers proudly without everyone gazing at us in pity- because they're all embracing them, too!

1, 2, 3 and 11 are my favourites of the 15. Which ones do you love best?

I tried to select jumpers which cater to plus sizes as much as possible. Everything goes up to at least a size 20 UK, with about half catering up to at least a size 28UK, and up to a 32/34UK. Many of them also start from a size 4. I'd say New Look Inspire has the biggest selection for plus sizes this year, but there are at least a few in almost all fashion shops.

Oh, and I have one more for you I forgot to add to the collage...



Leah of Just Me, Leah, bought these jumpers to everyone's attention a couple of days ago, and of course, everybody pounced on them straight away! (Including me; I bought one in black!) They're sold in a variety of colours by Fashion Avenue on eBay and the best part is they carry sizes to fit from a size 8-10 up to a size 28-30!! I purchased mine within a minute of reading Leah's post, and can't wait to wear it this Christmas. I hope it fits!

I grew up watching Home Alone 1 and 2, and they've always been two of my favourite Christmas films. I'm sure I've uttered those five words dozens of times over the years, so it's just perfect. I'd seen dozens of bloggers wearing similar jumpers recently, and was gutted to learn they were from boohoo.com, who obviously don't manufacture plus sizes. So, this one is a much size-friendlier alternative and costs just £12.99!

  1. they are great jumpers! and procrastination is always my preferred method for anything! I don't have a jumper bah humbug!! I'll be in one of my usual dresses, but a much looser one! x x x

  3. I love christmas jumpers! I think my favourites are 1, 3, 4 and 5. The home alone jumper is so cool, I have to watch the films every year.

  4. I love this post so much! I'm still waiting for my jumper to come. I think the seller is despatching something like 300+ jumpers a day! I hope mine comes in the next day or two and doesn't get snarled up too badly in the Christmas post. I know things I've posted have taken ages to arrive. I want to be festive in my jumper. :) x x
