Sunday Favourites #32

Morning all!

I hope you're all having a great weekend, or start to the week. What have you all been up to?

I was out and about for a few hours yesterday and of course, over did it; I haven't been able to move in the last ten hours. Sunday shall be a day of rest and recovery for me, and what better way to start the day then with a Serendipity Sunday?! Care to join me?

Stunning rainbow eye make up. Not sure about the brows, though.

I'm in love with this blue and green make up look. Definitely one to try in the future.

This outfit is fabulous. The contrasting colours are perfect together.

This is perfect. Purple and navy polka dots work so well together.

This outfit is so lovely.

Sweet summer manicure.

Gorgeous plaited bun.

"The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of other things. Of shoes, and ships, and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings..."

I am in LOVE with this tattoo of the oysters from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. Isn't it just the cutest tattoo you've ever seen?! Tempted. Oh, so tempted to get one myself!

I also really like this Alice in Wonderland inspired sleeve. I am seriously considering getting an Alice in Wonderland sleeve, with all the best creatures from that film, in the future. I want a bread-and-butterfly, a rocking-horse-fly, the talking doorknob, and some moamraths, if nothing else! Except I want everything!

This is beautiful. Look at all that detail!

So true!

I just had to share this image; it truly blows my mind. This is the deepest visible light image of the cosmos ever taken! And what it shows is a tiny portion of the universe, studded with an estimated ten thousand galaxies!! TEN THOUSAND! This is only one minuscule fraction of the universe; if there are so many in one area, I wondered how many galaxies there might be overall. Apparently it's an estimated 500 billion! 500 billion galaxies, with a potential 500 billion solar systems! I thought about this too deeply, and found it was too overwhelming to comprehend how big the universe is, and how much life that could be out there. It made my head hurt. I know it's geeky, but it's incredible.

These two koalas were orphaned as teeny tiny babies when their mama was hit by a car. They were discovered in her pouch at the vets, where the driver had taken the koala, and were adopted and raised by caring humans. They're just adorable!

If you've ever wondered what a hairless pink baby koala looks like, click through to the source. There are lots of cute photos of them at different ages.

A zoo gives visitors the opportunity to play tug of war with their tigers. I can't decide if this is cruel, or great enrichment for them. Although, the tigers do seem to be enjoying it.

This Postsecret 'secret' is the definition of me. I live by lists, and pretty much operate a similar system. It did make me laugh.

A virtual supermarket in South Korea. Virtual supermarkets are popping up in train stations across South Korea, as a reward to the hard-working nation. Commuters can order their groceries whilst they're waiting for their train using the QR reader on their phones, and even have it waiting for them by the time they get home! What a genius idea!

Love this.

Raspberry Confetti Kisses. They look so cute.

A blind date with a book. Adore this idea.

Best wedding photo EVER!

A common occurance for British commuters.

Your past has no power over you.

The opinions of haters don't matter, anyway.

// 28 Problems That Are Destroying the British People- 28 humorous but oh so true little things that drive us round the bend. I can relate to many of 'em.

// These other British problems are equally funny.

// A tale of a plus size fashion student and her plus size mannequin.  I found this post interesting. Manufacturers don't seem to realise the human form can't just be scaled up in uniform increments as it gets larger.

// A mama dog saving her puppy from drowning. Heart warming.

// Milestones in space photography.  Amazing, and overwhelming at the same time.

// 65 books to read in your twenties. This list intrigues me.

I hope you've enjoyed this week's Serendipity Sunday. Which part was your favourite this week?
